Highlights
Entering into the wonderful world of the highest peaks and forests in the Czech Republic, the Krkonose or Giant Mountains. Source of the Elbe River and listed as UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the region offers breathtaking alpine views in all four seasons.
Program
- Pick up at your hotel/accommodation and depart to Spindleruv Mlyn, a beautiful and the most famous mountain resort town in the Krkonose Valley.
- On the way, visit one of the best glass bead artists of the Czech Republic in her workshop.
- You’ll have an opportunity to shop gallery quality handmade glass jewelry directly from the artist at best price.
- A tea/coffee break in a lovely cottage in the village on high mountain.
- Onward journey to Spindleruv Mlyn town center.
- Afternoon activities according to your choice of option.
Option 1 – Leisure moments in Spindleruv Mlyn
- Leisure walk in the lovely resort town in the Krkonose Valley and on the banks of the Elbe River with beautiful alpine panorama views.
- Lunch on own.
- A visit of the beautiful Valley of St. Peter by excursion train or private car.
- Leisure time for picnic break at the Labska Dam near the source of the Elbe River.
- Return to Prague.
Option 2 – Krkonose National Park
- Take the transfer to enter inside the Krkonose National Park.
- Enjoy the breathtaking views of the wild nature on the top of the Krkonose peak and jump across the Polish borders.
- A walk up the mountain with beautiful alpine scenes.
- Lunch on own in a typical mountain cottage.
- Take the transfer back and have a leisure walk in the lovely town centre along the banks of the Elbe River. OR hike down the trail of the White Elbe with the panorama views of the mountains, valleys and lovely mountain farmsteads, (the distance of 6 kilometres.)
- Return to Prague.
Option 3 – Visit one of the Krkonose peaks by cable car
- Take a cable car up to one of the Krkonose Mountain peaks with stunning panorama views of the valleys and the rolling mountains.
- Picnic lunch with traditional Czech delicacies.
- An option of hiking down to Spindleruv Mlyn town centre through the beautiful alpine forests, (distance of 6 kilometres), or going down by cable car.
- Leisure walk in the lovely town in the Krkonose Valley and on the banks of the Elbe River with beautiful alpine panorama views.
- Return to Prague.
